The InterContinental Abu Dhabi is an IHG flag
ship property in Abu Dhabi and is a prominent landmark on the Corniche, located
in a commanding beachfront setting. It features 390 guest rooms and suites, has
highly acclaimed food and beverage outlets and elegant meeting rooms and
banquet facilities.




We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic Accounts Receivable Clerk to join InterContinental Abu Dhabi. 



 



Basically, the Accounts Receivable Clerk that we are looking
for, generally, is to process and manage payments received and to provide
related accounting support, financial, clerical and administrative services to
ensure efficient, timely and accurate payments
of accounts.



 



Job Overview

  • Prepare
    a daily collection report, checking the folio's attachments.
  • Conducts
    daily follow up for payment and maintains individual files for all clients.
  • Arranges
    invoices and ensure all supporting documents are attached and forwarded to the
    Credit Manager or delegate for approval.
  • Reconciliation
    of accounts, monitoring customer account details for non payments, delayed
    payments and other irregularities, maintain accounts receivable client files.
  • File
    duplicate copy of all invoices / statements in their respective files and
    remove all paid invoices.
  • Complete
    period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Perform
    other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.



Ideally you'll have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or
equivalent), with at least two (2) years experience in a similar role in a 5
stars hotel.  Ultimately, you have
excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, proficient skills for written
and oral communication in English.  Proficiency
in computer software systems such as MS Office, knowledge of Opera system is
desirable.  The right candidate portrays a professional image at all times and posses strong
multi tasking and admin skills.
