Qualifications

  OBJECTIVE To ensure guests satisfaction by increasing the turnover of properly cleaned Vacant Inspected rooms according to JWMM cleanliness standard. To achieve “green” result in the Brand Standard Audit and departmental productivity goals.   Candidate Profile Experience
/education At least High School graduate Housekeeper experience preferred.

Good oral communication skills in English Speaks with others using clear and professional language Able to work under pressure Able to do shift work Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and carry objects equal to 25 pounds without assistance Sit, stand or walk for an extended period of time   JOB SUMMARRY

  • Report for work on time according to the Week’s Work Schedule.
  •  Ensure uniforms and name tag, and the Griffin pin, are worn according to the JWMM standards.
  • Collect from the Key Watcher cabinet the floor master key allocated to you.
  • Attend and participate in the daily Stand Up Meeting/Briefing.
  • Get your Assignment sheet from your Supervisor or HK Coordinator, and proceed to your assigned floors/rooms.
  • Clean vacant-dirty rooms first, enter guestrooms following procedures of gaining access of guestrooms.
  • Clean the bedroom as trained.
  • Replace used guest amenities and supplies. Replace soiled coffee cups and saucers with clean ones.
  • Remove trash, soiled linen and terry, and any IRD trays and soiled dishes.
  • Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
  • Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items.
  • Make up beds as trained and according to the JWMM standard.
  • Straighten desk and coffee table items, furniture and appliances.
  • Dust polish, and spot clean marks on walls and furnishings.
  • Vacuum carpet thoroughly, especially sides and corners, and behind the drapes.
  • Fold terry as per JWMM standard.
  • Clean bathroom as trained.
  • Report any maintenance requests through the Guestwares’ IVR/Quick Connect.
  • Advise your Shift Leader immediately of lost and found items, if any.
  • After cleaning the room, take the LAST LOOK (as trained) and inspect, and release the room when all is up to the JWMM standard of cleanliness through the phone using the following:  *93 for Vacant-Inspected, and *92 for Occupied-Inspected.
  • NOTE: Rooms that you cleaned and released will be spot inspected by your Shift Leader, Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, Executive Housekeeper, and or Director of Services daily. If your monthly Rooms Inspection average score is below 95% for two (2) consecutive months, you may be demoted.
