Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for operation of all housekeeping functions at the property.
  • Establish standards of cleanliness of areas under he/she supervision.
  • Operate within department budgets through effective stock controls and well managed schedules.
  • Ensure team members have an up to date knowledge of all room categories and amenities.
  • Support and manage training and development of team members.
  • Meets regularly with engineering and laundry departments to ensure smooth flow of supplies and repair works.
  • Ability to conduct periodic inventories, forecast guest supplies etc.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of, and ability to manage Housekeeping department operations
  • Minimum of five years previous experience in Housekeeping operations, at least two years as Assistant Housekeeper in a five star hotel

  • Demonstrated management abilities including but not limited to the following: Taking initiative, leadership, problem solving, prioritizing, delegating, training and developing subordinates, producing results (results-oriented), and goal setting
  • A five star experience obtained in another Hotel chain is preferable.
