CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience
:

·          Having an experience in similar position for at least 12 months preferred



Skills and Knowledge

·          Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)

·          Innovative

·          Pro-active and reliable

·          Able to work alone and within a team

·          MICROS, OPERA, Guestware, Microsoft Office and other related operating systems

·          Flexible and ability to work around the clock



Education or Certification

  • College Graduate-Preferred

·          Good level of English essential

SPECIFIC DUTIES 

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

1-        Butler’s schedule will be based on the needs of the Royal Suite guests. For example, if a Royal family does not awake/start their day until 11 am, the primary butler will not be scheduled until then in order to better match the guest’s schedule.

2-        Butler will be responsible for the following before and upon arrival:

·          Familiar with amenities and technology the Royal Suite offers

·          Make a pre call to the point of contact one week before arrival or within 24 hours of booking.

·          Gather any food and beverage preferences to create welcome amenity including liquor preference if utilizing bar package

·          Gather any special room requirements (ex: wireless booster, international adapters, etc.) and place in room prior to arrival

·          Make any reservations requested prior to arrival and create an itinerary

·          Assist with set up fresh flowers for living room and the three bedrooms

·          Pick up guest from the airport if requested or arrange transportation

·          The primary butler will meet and greet upon arrival

·          Unpack guests luggage if requested

3-        Butler will assist with all, but not limited, to the following requests and expectations during stay:

·          Print out and distribute itineraries as needed

·          Laundry service: pick up and delivery

·          Provide shoe shine service

·          Specific food or amenity requests, i.e. IRD or off property if needed

·          Water flowers daily

·          Dining or Transportation Reservations

·          Communicate housekeeping service times

·          Attractions or Entertainment Information and purchase of tickets if needed

·          Refresh refrigerator, amenities, and flowers as needed

·          Provide daily email or information to the Division Head and Department Leader regarding the Royal Suite’s guest

·          Butler will assist with all, but not limited, to the following requests and expectations upon departure:

·          Write a fond farewell card for the principal guest

·          Reconfirm flight details

·          Provide checkout information and folio if requested

·          Pack guests luggage if requested

·          Escort back to the airport if requested or arrange transportation

·          Gather any hotel items from room and bring back to proper location
