Our client is managing a luxury resort in Maldives and they are now looking for an outstanding Food & Beverage Manager to oversee their diverse Food & Beverage department. Candidate will be responsible for managing one of the largest F&B operations in the Maldives which includes buffet restaurants, a la carte dining, fine-dining theme restaurants and specialty bars.

Key Profile:

  • Must have at least 3 years experience as Food & Beverage Manager or Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in an international brand or well-known luxury resort preferably from the Indian Ocean
  • Must be able to manage a multicultural team
  • Should be a very hands-on individual as this is a large operation
  • Excellent guest contact skills
  • Project management experience is an advantage
  • ​Develop and implement policies and procedures​
  • Work with the Human Resources department for all HR needs
  • ​Sound understanding of various POS and PMS systems​
  • Must be able to significantly contribute towards achieving KPIs and set goals
  • Should have a sound knowledge on Sales and Marketing to develop promotions on a regular basis
  • Able to train and coach the workforce and lead by example
  • Capable enough to work on cost control, budgets and supervise other required details of the department’s financial records
  • Showcase clear emphasis on quality and maintain excellent guest services at all times
  • Implement and benchmark brand standards
  • Remain in-charge of stocks and negotiate on contracts with 3rd party vendors and suppliers
  • Maintain and implement proper levels of hygiene and safety measures
