We are currently looking to recruit a Sous Chef with a keen desire to improve the operation, develop and share product knowledge as well as drive revenue, and positively impact exceptional guest experiences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Sous Chef, you will establish and maintain professionally efficient and effective communication channels within the whole Food & Beverage department. You will employ the culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our Guest's satisfaction.
Essentially, the Sous Chef will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation in kitchens. This involves a large degree of supervising other kitchen colleagues, as well as keeping an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen and seizing control of a situation at a moment's notice. He will also need to effectively discipline underperforming colleagues, as well as provide incentives for staff members to go above and beyond the expectations of their particular chef roles.
An ideal candidate would be a profile with minimum 2-3 years experience in a reputed 5 star hotels or restaurant.
