All the duties must be followed according to Nando's Standard Operational Procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Moments of Pride to Nandocas with passion.
  • Inform waiters and hosts of any menu shortages during moments of pride.
  • Organise floor sections for all Nandocas on a shift basis.
  • Drive front of house staff performance against set daily targets
  • Manage poor performance and provide continuous feedback to Nandocas and Patrão.
  • Control food and drink stock on a daily basis.
  • Perform daily compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, Repairs & Maintenance.
  • Inform Patrãos of any issues regarding any outstanding compliance.
  • Check all the inventories related to front of house are completed on daily and weekly basis.
  • Check all Nandocas wear the correct uniform.
  • Check all the equipment’s used in front of house is working properly.
  • Check toilet checklist is completed on hourly basis daily.
  • Check that customers are happy with their food & experience in Nando's.
  • Check comment cards are being given to all the customers.
  • Assist with training of all Nandocas that proactively meet the needs of the business.
  • Check the attendance register for front of house team.
  • Assist Patrão in ensuring adherence to the disciplinary code.
  • Sign-off front of house Nandocas on the relevant training and procedures on an on-going basis.
  • Check Nando's brand touch points are cleaned and placed correctly in the front of house.
  • Check if customers have a loyalty card or if they want one.
  • Be present on the floor during peak hours leading the front of house team.

Candidates Must

  • Wear clean and ironed uniform.
  • Keep hair and nails well groomed at all times.
  • Practice good personal hygiene.
  • Adhere to Nando's Food Safety, Health & Safety and Rules of the Roost policies.
  • Provide attentive and professional service to all customers.
  • Display great Nando's history and menu knowledge.
  • Display behaviours in line with the Nando's Framework of Excellence.
