We have a career opportunity for a Concierge Agent.

Successful candidate must demonstrate the following competencies:

  •      To assist guests with Concierge services including entertainment/dining bookings, sending and receiving courier packages and directing guests within and outside of the Hotel.  To answer guest questions and resolve guest problems.
  • The Concierge is a key representative of The H Hotel. Concierge at The H has a friendly and outgoing personality, and is genuinely interested in meeting and serving guests from all over the world. The position necessitates being an information provider, receiver, diplomat, hotel representative, and public relations agent, all performed with the utmost politeness, efficiency and genuine friendliness
  • Basic computer skills, Knowledge of OPERA is an advantage.


  • To be an ambassador of the Front Office and the hotel, in and outside the work place
  • To provide a personal service to all the guests, fully aware and following the hotel standards and procedures
  • To ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome and that they enjoy their stay / visit being offered the finest personal service.
  • To personally greet and escort the guests rather than pointing out directions
  • To ensure that the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information is respected
  • To ensure uncompromising levels of cleanliness and maintenance of the work place through own responsibility
  • To properly use the supplies, equipment and to ask for requisitions accordingly
  • To manage any guest complaint in a professional manner, by owning it, resolving it to the guest’s satisfaction and recording it
  • To call the supervisor or manager for advice in serious cases or if an approval is required
  • To ensure a proper use of the telephone etiquette as per H standards
  • To provide a personalized service to all the guests at the Concierge desk, in the lobby, hotel entrance and airport, fully aware and following the hotel standards and procedures.
  • To provide uncompromising levels of cleanliness and maintenance through own responsibility
  • To always keep the working area clean and well maintained
  • To use appropriate materials, equipment and supplies for the smooth run of the Concierge operations and to ask for requisitions accordingly
  • To ensure a proper coverage of the Concierge Desk, the lobby, hotel entrance at all time
  • To be fully aware of and to report all guests comments and complaints
  • To be aware of all VIPs visiting or staying in the hotel
  • To check the arrival lists and to block all the rooms according to guest requests and needs, as advised by the Front Office Supervisor
  • To do a proper cashier closer and to ensure a complete handover between the shifts
  • To properly use all the equipment and PMS
  • To check arrival and departure lists and to arrange transportation and airport services accordingly
  • To ensure that all luggage and guest belongings are safely and in time handled
  • To handle and ensure prompt delivery of messages, mail or any other guest and hotel correspondence
  • To expediently and courteously respond to all guest requests, providing correct and updated information, including
  • Hotel bookings
  • Airline reservations, changes, cancellations
  • Transportation requests, taxi, bus, limo, rent a car, etc.
  • Car repair and servicing, locksmith
  • Banking / financial services
  • Restaurant reservations, nightclub activities
  • Film processing
  • Sporting events, golf facilities, health club facilities
  • Formal wear rentals
  • Flowers
  • Salon / spa appointments
  • Shopping services
  • Movie / theatre / attraction tickets
  • Sightseeing tours
  • Medical services
  • Religious services
  • Other requests
  • To assist in arranging partnerships and contacts with service suppliers
  • To provide all kind of business information, including events and conferences
  • To strictly respect the key handling procedures
  • To daily follow the checklists and billing procedures
  • To assist the Operator and any other department in concierge needs
  • To respect schedules, terms and deadlines as agreed with the Management
  • To daily read the Concierge logbook and to sign it. To update the activity reports.
  • To be aware of all hotel facilities operating timing and to promote the internal activities and events
  • To be updated with the latest administrative, organizational, operational or other changes and news
  • To be updated with the competitor’s offerings and rates
  • To attend a daily briefing with the Concierge team to recapitulate tasks and activity
  • To maintain an atmosphere of high morale and a happy working relationship among the team
