<p><u>Summary of Responsibilities:&nbsp;</u></p> <p>Responsibilities and essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:</p> <p>• Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone, fax, written communication.</p> <p>• Maintain close business relationships with existing clients through key sales activities.</p> <p>• Cultivate and develop new business relationships through key sales activities</p> <p>• Closely follows up on all business leads within a 24 hour response timeline to clients</p> <p>• Adapts to client's needs by tailor fitting hotel services to fit client's requests.</p> <p>• Analyze the corporate segment performance based on segmentation objectives &amp; strategies.</p> <p>• Conduct competitor surveys and recommend strategies based on market intelligence.</p> <p>• Reviews corporate account and recommends actions in terms of rates, production, contract renewals.</p> <p>• Analyze other factors that affect production i.e internal, external factors and recommends actions required.</p> <p>• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to maximize hotel profit in all revenue producing areas.</p> <p>• Establishes new corporate accounts year round</p> <p>• Demonstrates commitment to Hotel operating principles and philosophies.</p> <p>• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.</p> <p>• Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and attitude towards all internal &amp; external guests.</p> <p>• Develops and maintains close working relationship with all departments throughout the hotel.</p> <p>• Inform concerned departments important VIP arrival well in advance.</p> <p>• Respectfully is the brand ambassador of the hotel and communicates all promotions &amp; products to the market.</p> <p>• Maintains rate integrity of the hotel and maximizes revenue opportunities.</p> <p>• Feedbacks to the management on various room rates and product packages that are in the market</p> <p>• Maintains a good understanding of the market dynamics in terms of rate, business trends, other product offers.</p> <p>• Establish programs and direct efforts to achieve group and FIT room night goals and to develop ongoing relationships with customers.</p> <p>• Effectively and efficiently updating all sales activities, reports and feedback in ASA</p> <p>• Responsible of evaluating and renewal of corporate contracts</p> <p>• Respect the Hotels SOPs and punctuality</p> <p><strong>Education / Professional experience</strong></p> <p>• Vocational Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management school, or general Business school.<br /> • Knowledge of the concepts and evaluation of market analysis processes.<br /> • A clear understanding of hotel industry is necessary as well as analytical capabilities.<br /> • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Hotel Industry and 1 year in sales in Dubai.<br /> • Previous experience in a multi-cultural environment is essential.<br /> • Communication skills : PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.<br /> • Languages: fluent in English and the national language, a 3rd language will be a plus.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills / Qualities</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Pullman: a new service attitude centered on proximity, sociability and sharing experience.<br /> Ensure all staff embodies the same mindset by developing each individual's sense of <strong>curiosity,<br /> open-mindedness, interpersonal skills</strong> and <strong>sense of initiative</strong>.</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>• Commitment to service.<br /> • Strive for results (Career Oriented, pro-active , finding initiative ).<br /> • Leading by example.<br /> • Aggressive negotiation skills and creative selling abilities to close on business with a high conversion rate.</em></p>
