  • Greet all Guests and co-workers with a smile and an appropriate hospitality greeting
  • To be noticeably positioned at entrance to provide parking assistance upon arrival, and departure of Guest vehicles
  • Take over cashier functions if there is no cashier on a particular shift
  • Greets all Guests arriving by vehicle, and accepts vehicle for parking
  • Ensures all vehicle keys are clearly identified and stored in a locked location
  • Will provide the Guest with detailed parking charges, and provide Guest with payment receipt
  • Ensures all entrance areas are free and clear from congestion for arrivals and departures of vehicles in an expedient manner
  • When requested or anticipated will provide guests with information and answers to questions about hotel facilities, meeting functions, dining facilities, local transportation alternatives, and local visitor and tourist attractions. If unable to provide the required assistance, seek out and refer to another resource for successful completion
  • Provide the removal of items from stored vehicles if required, and other miscellaneous services requested by the Guest or supervisor in a timely manner
  • Provide transportation to/from the airport for hotel Guests and other Guests as directed by Concierge and/or Management
  • Provide as directed transportation to hotels Guests and other Guests as directed by Concierge  and/or Management
  • Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of vehicle whilst in under their responsibility
  • Report all car maintenance issues to Concierge immediately
  • Drive car in safe manner at all times, abiding by all road laws and ensuring a pleasant and secure travel experience for all Guests
  • Assists in fire alarms by fulfilling duties as outlined in the hotel fire response manual
  • Assist in ensuring Guest and co-worker safety and security by reporting any suspicious or unusual behaviour or occurrence to the appropriate supervisor on duty, and informing security
  • In the course of normal duties, to observe, report, or take immediate corrective action on deficiencies, malfunctions, and untidiness
  • To report for duty with a professional appearance and dress to standards 
  • To be able to operate all type of vehicles (Manual and AT transmission) 
  • Maintain amicable and co-operative working relations with other departments in the Hotel
  • Comply with all Health & Safety legislation, using working practices that are safe and sensible to your colleagues and to yourself
  • Be aware of the departmental schedule and to always be on time for duty.
  • Must hold a legal, valid local driving license with no penalties
  • Proficient in the English & Arabic (verbal & written).
  • Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment while remaining calm and collective
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours and willing to work overnight
  • Prior experience in customer service an asset
