and a large-scale events space - the Festival Arena. In addition to over
1000 bedrooms, the five properties boast a selection of high quality
restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800 square meter Event Centre across two
levels, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, state-of -the-art gymnasium
facilities, and swimming pool facilities. The Festival Arena by
InterContinental is Dubai’s newest and most dynamic event space. With 5000
square-meters under one roof and perfectly set amongst the serene environment
of Al Badia Golf Course, Festival Arena is the ideal venue to host large-scale
events up to 5000 guests.

At the moment we're
looking for an Events Sales Manager - Festival Arena by InterContinental
to join our energetic, enthusiastic and passionate team at InterContinental
Hotels Dubai Festival City.
This role, reports
directly to the Director of Conference and Events, InterContinental
Hotels and as the Events Sales Manager, you will lead and manage
the Festival Arena sales efforts, develop market strategies in collaboration
with DC&E and Revenue department and customer focus. You will also be
responsible to achieve events revenue, food and beverage revenue as well as
room night goals as per Hotel’s targets.
The key responsibilities
development of Festival Arena’s sales and marketing strategies
· To develop and implement
strategies for achieving sales and goals and targeting Convention business,
Social Business, Sports businessand Entertainment business
· To monitor status
regularly and adjust strategies as appropriate
· To identify potential
key accounts and develop strategies to penetrate those accounts
large-scale events with delegates participation of not less that 2000 -
MICE and Social related business following the MICE Conversion SOPs to
ensure consistency and quality services are provided at all times:
· To tailor make proposals
in response to client’s requirements
· To conduct on-site
inspections to showcase the available service
· To ensure full understanding
of all event requirements
· To drive total revenue
(Events, Rooms and F&B) considering goals set forth in the sales strategy
