staff, the hotel weaves together an international five star presence with
Mediterranean charm.




We are currently
seeking for a Revenue Analyst who
prides themselves on their ability to provide accurate financial data that will
help the Sales and Senior Executive teams to make well-informed decisions about
potential new business and the market, in general.



 
In this role, you
would be responsible for completing a variety of reports to help the
organization track financial health and progress. Specifically, you will be
responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:



  • Fully
    utilize available tools and systems to maximize all revenue streams. Apply all
    facets of pricing, demand analysis, yield management, selling strategies and
    tactics in accordance with worldwide best practices.
  • Develop
    revenue culture within operations by leading, training, coaching teams on
    principle of revenue management such as upselling, suggestive selling, cross selling,
    menu engineering and identifying revenue opportunities.
  • Create
    and maintain business relationships with key business partners in Sales,
    Marketing, PR, Reservation, Finance, IT, and Operations to identify
    opportunities to improve long-term company profits as well as execute the plans
    on a daily basis.
  • Provide
    an in-depth analysis and business insights to improve profits through the
    application of forecasting and optimization science as well as the appropriate
    use of pricing and demand management.
  • Present
    financial data through day-to-day operations, as well as strategically
    guide the Revenue department to achieve Team and organizational goals.
  • Ensure
    yield exemptions are investigated and analyzed and new business opportunities
    are identified.
  • Prepare
    a three-month market segment outlook and maintain on a daily basis by
    monitoring actual results versus forecast for plan achievement.
  • Outline
    risks and opportunities relative to meeting rooms versus Guest room
    availability to present at weekly meetings.
  • Assist
    with the preparation of the Annual Budget process by providing insight to
    future sales volumes and revenues. Develop and provide accurate short- and
    long-term forecasts for each revenue stream.
  • Developing
    competitive research and conducting industry benchmarks to provide background
    information for the entire Pricing strategy.



The ideal candidate

You have the ability to think laterally and analytical, display a high level of
integrity and have the ability to identify, impact and influence others. You
are a strong team player, enthusiastic and flexible. You would also need to have
the following qualifications:



 
  • Bachelor’s
    Degree in related field
  • 2
    years of experience as Revenue Analyst in a 4* or 5* hotel / Leadership
    position
  • Strong
    analytical skills and strategic thinking ability
  • Demonstrate
    proficiency in establishing strategic direction in a high volume business
  • Demonstrate
    cross-functional partnering, influence and communication skills
  • Demonstrate
    ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrate
    problem solving, creative thinking and decision making skills
