Job Overview

Responsible for driving
hotel vehicles in accordance with the local traffic Rules and Regulations,
following the hotel’s policies and procedures whilst maximizing guests’
satisfaction and safety. Valid GCC Driving License is mandatory.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

    1.     Transport hotel guests to
    and from the airport and other destinations

    2.     Observance of rules and
    regulations on road safety and courtesy

    3.     Assistance in loading
    luggage of newly arrived guests

    4.     Assistance to porter in
    unloading luggage upon arrival at landing area

    5.     See to it that vehicle
    assigned is properly operated and always in good condition

    6.     Conducting daily check of
    battery, oil and radiator

    7.     Submission of vehicle that
    are schedule for check-up and tune-up such as; changing of oil filter and other
    preventive maintenance service or as necessary, as per car manual to his

    8.     Ensuring daily gas-up of
    vehicles every early morning as necessary and endorse invoices to immediate
    superior for accounting purposes

    9.     Reporting to superior any
    engine faults, malfunctions or accidents encountered as well as guests

    10.  Ensure that guests’
    preferences, offering of amenities to guests are fully observed

    11.  Relays of all arriving
    guests Chief Concierge/Manager On Duty for immediate information

    12.  Accomplishment of Car
    Control Sheet for every trips being made

    13.  Endorsement of car key to
    Manager on duty after tour of duty

    14.  Assists valet parking
    services to hotel guests and patrons

    15.  Reviewing logbooks for
    information, pending matters and execution for follow-up

    16.  Must be able to assist in
    washing hotel cars and other facilities if exigency calls for it

    17.  Perform other occasional
    duties may be issued from time to time by his superior


    1.     Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations and
    provisions contained in the Employment Handbook 

    2.     Comply with Company Grooming Standards at all
    times to portray a professional image of self and the hotel.

    3.     Comply with Time and Attendance Policies set
    by the hotel.

    4.     Actively participate in training and
    development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development

    5.     Demonstrate understanding and awareness of
    all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety

    6.     Familiarize yourself with emergency and
    evacuation procedures

    7.     Ensure all security incidents, accidents and
    near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention
    of the Line Manager

    8.     Comply with the Company’s Corporate Code of

    9.     Familiarize self with the company values
    (Great Hotels Guests Love) and model desired behaviors (Winning Ways, Room to
    be Yourself) and ways of working (IHG Wheel).

    10.  Perform all tasks as directed by the Manager
    in pursuit of the achievement of business goals
