Because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can handle and support the administration works at the Culinary Department, communicate regular activities whenever required and implement Health and Safety standards at all time.

Duties and responsibilities
  • To handle all incoming calls to the Culinary Department and direct them to the relevant person in accordance to Crowne Plaza Standards.

  • To keep all Administration work up to date, such as filing and typing

  • To ensure a proper filing and trace system is adhered to.

  • To have all information related to the Culinary Department at your disposal in order to give a quick and efficient reaction to all enquires.

  • To attend all training programs when requested.

  • Maintain harmony between kitchen and service staff.

  • Demonstrates service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards.

  • Demonstrates understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to health, hygiene and free lifestyle.

  • Regularly communicate with staff to maintain good relation.

  • Comply with the Company’s Corporate Code of Conduct.

  • Perform tasks as directed by the Executive Chef in pursuit of the achievement of business goals.

  • Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all company policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety and ensure your direct reports do the same.

  • Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures.

  • Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are logged investigated and rectified to prevent future catastrophes.

Qualifications and requirements
High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent. One year front desk/guest service experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and basic usage of Internet is preferred. Some college/university preferred. Must speak fluent English, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. Be passionate about people and service. Strong communication skills essential when interacting with guests and employees.
