  At the moment we're looking for a Butcher to join our
energetic, enthusiastic and passionate Kitchen team, based at Holiday Inn Bur
Dubai - Embassy District

new guest rooms perfectly located within walking distance from the Dubai Metro,
Burjuman Centre and the Creek on its doorstep. This together with its close
Proximity to Dubai International Airport and Dubai International Exhibition
Centre positions the hotel as the ideal choice for Corporate & Leisure
markets.



 



As a Butcher,
you will support the Kitchen team in identifying and sourcing the best meat
products for the hotel Kitchen operations.  Specifically, you will be responsible for
performing the following tasks to the highest standards:



  • To properly store and prepare all
    meat items for hotel outlets as per menu specifications laid down by the
    chef.

  • To maintain the highest standards
    of hygiene and cleanliness at all times in the area of work.  This is
    particularly important in the Butchery. 

  • Prepare, cut, portion, trim all
    B&C and venues protein, seafood and game per the chefs instructions

  • Support all Chefs in the ordering
    and check deliveries upon arrival in the kitchen.

  • Follow the HACCP policy of the
    hotel and ensure the Butchery operates most hygienically

  • Practice sanitation and safety
    daily to ensure the total customer satisfaction


  • QUALIFICATIONS:



     



  • Work
    experience of about 2+ years in the Butchery of a hotel operation

  • Experience of handling meat
    products for the Kitchen

  • Basic HACCP Awareness
