Job Description

• Under the guidance of the Complex Director Marketing, research and identify specific pieces of collateral required to support the operational department. This will range from hotel brochures to specific promotional requirements across the property. • Liaise with appointed designers, supplying a written brief outlining the specific objectives, target market and any additional information as required ensuring that the Director Marketing is kept aware of all progress. • Ensure that all deadlines are met and each edition is delivered to a pre-agreed timing plan. • Along with Director Marketing identify through brainstorming sessions with key department heads opportunities to execute value-added mailings to this database in line with the hotel's revenue objectives. • Maintain positive online hotel presence by reviewing English & Arabic website, social media channels and third party sites. • Respond to reviews with prior approval from Complex Director Marketing on TripAdvisor, Starwood Brand Website and any other social media sites on a daily basis. • Post creative and engaging content on a daily basis for all social media channels with a pre-planned 15 days calendar. • Manage Local Property Sites and ensure Brand Standards compliance. • Update key digital platforms (restaurants / meetings / spa, etc.) and implement best practices to deliver increased online presence under the guidance of Director Marketing. • Share monthly insights on competition trends and social media channel analysis. • Motivate The Westin and Le Meridien Bahrain City Centre associates to embrace Social Media, act as a resource for different departments to make various local initiatives more "social" • Supports internal and external events and social functions as required. • Ensure the photo library is current and well organized.


Education: Bachelor degree required additional education in marketing fields preferred. Experience: At least 1 year of experience within Marketing in 5-star hotels. Language: Proficiency in oral and written English and Arabic is mandatory for this role.
