  • Previous Asian experience in 5 star hotels in leading the F&B department for last 5 years is a MUST

Our client manages a luxury hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia which is well-known for its high-end accommodation, leisure and F&B services. To manage and lead the F&B operations, we are now searching for an exceptional Director of Food and Beverage or Executive Assistant Manger of Food and Beverage.

The successful candidate will have the following profile:

  • Be young, dynamic and formally trained
  • Previous work experience within 5 star city hotels across Asia for the last 5 years
  • Presently working as Director of Food and Beverage or Executive Assistant Manger of Food and Beverage
  • Be very much a 'hands-on' manager who will lead by example a multi-cultural team (spending 90% of their time 'on the floor')
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to upgrade the overall culinary product
  • Implement new SOP's to enhance service delivery across the entire resort
  • Excellent guest contact skills
  • Project management experience is an advantage
  • Work with the Human Resources department for all HR needs
  • ​Sound understanding of various POS and PMS systems​
  • Must be able to significantly contribute towards achieving KPIs and set goals
  • Should have a sound knowledge on Sales and Marketing to develop promotions on a regular basis
  • Capable enough to work on cost control, budgets and supervise other required details of the department’s financial records
  • Showcase clear emphasis on quality and maintain excellent guest services at all times
  • Implement and benchmark brand standards
  • Remain in-charge of stocks and negotiate on contracts with 3rd party vendors and suppliers
  • Maintain and implement proper levels of hygiene and safety measures
