As Sales & Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible in liaising with PR
& Marketing in targeting specific markets and developing the public
relations strategies to reach these markets. Your responsibilities
include:

  • Identify operational problems that
    reduce the effectiveness of marketing activities and overall hotel sales
    performance and work with appropriate department on solutions.
  • Develop awareness and reputation of the
    hotel and the brand in the local community.
  • Work closely with business leaders,
    officials, and representatives of local community groups within the city to
    ensure constant high profile exposure for the hotel.
  • Work closely with management to achieve
    budget and Hotel brilliant basic
  • Develop our HTC, Merlin system, update
    Hotel content in OTA’s assist the management in social media reports.
  • Fully responsible of the guest online
    feedback and responses
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Respond to all daily
    general media inquiries via email, phone, and/or written
  • correspondence.
  • Refer requests for
    information from the media to an appropriate spokesperson or information
    source.
  • Prepare and edit letters,
    invitations, monthly and quarterly press reports, and news releases, using word
    processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
  • Support activities and
    initiatives to bolster the property's reputation and image in the media and in
    the community.
  • Support media relations
    outreach efforts, including pitching ideas and events, interview facilitation,
    and media tours.
  • Coordinate on-property
    visits from media, including reservations, amenities, special requests, and
    dining.
  • File and update digital
    library and press clippings.
  • Monitor media coverage and
    other external factors to identify potential or actual problem areas and
    opportunities.
  • File information and update
    press database, including list of all media contacts and media distribution
    lists (e.g., contact information, magazine circulation and demographics).
  • Assist with on-site media
    relations for local events, including, but not limited to, grand
    openings/anniversaries, marketing/promotional events, and other press
    functions.
  • Develop and maintain active
    contacts with the local press and key overseas media.
  • Maintain and update the hotel’s
    mailing list and emails by liaising with different departments on a monthly
    basis.
  • Ensures all press releases
    distributed to media are also posted on the website while being current,
    accurate and error free
  • Maintain and update hotel’s
    photo library and keep a comprehensive image filing system.
  • Monitor development,
    production and execution of advertising campaigns and collaterals of the hotel.
  • Maintain accurate records
    of up-to-date marketing expenditures, future commitments and remaining budget
    for the
  • Help PR &
    Marketing  manager in managing  and building 
    relationship with OTAs
  • Evaluate the
    performance of our branded website , promote and improve the presence of the
    hotel on the web, with the intention of increasing number of bookings and keeping
    the website up to date
  • Monitor, implement
    and execute the active presence of the property on all Social Media tools to
    maximize the online exposure of the property
  • Monitor and develop
    e-newsletters pertaining to the property and maintain all online channels to be
    accurate and brand compliant according to company standards.
  • Conduct regular
    quality assurance audits on the hotel’s descriptive content & images to
    ensure parity on all channels and integrity with brand website
  • Identifying and
    evaluating new marketing opportunities to increase direct internet traffic as
    well as monitoring the online presence as well as rate position of immediate
    competitors

Bachelor’s degree/ higher education qualification,
2 or more years of experience in Sales & Marketing. Good writing skills and creative is
a plus.
