We are looking for people who are young-minded, ability to work under pressure, commited to delivering a high level of customer service, passion for producing high quality food, prove flexibility with dedication at work. Responsibilities
• Good knowledge of the hotel emergency, fire and safety procedures
• Keep the work environment clean, neat and clear of potential hazards
• The safety and security of guests and employees are of vital importance
• Assist, supervise and control the events, the production in general and the a la carte production
• Always adhere to SOP and P&P standards of preparation, recipe and presentation
• Ensure and enforce food safety and hygiene is at the highest importance
• Maintain own working area, materials and company property clean, tidy and in good shape
• Produce the highest possible food quality within guidelines
• Store unused food properly and inform Executive Pastry Chef/or Head Baker of large quantities of stored food
• Take orders and work closely from his/her Pastry Demi Chef de Partie and carry them out in the correct manner
• Work closely with the Pastry Demi Chef de Partie and takes every opportunity to become familiar with all aspects of his/her position
• Work to the specifications given by the Executive Pastry Chef/or Head Baker regarding portion, size, quantity and quality as laid down in the recipe index, etc.

Requirements

Education
• High school/Hotel school/college school.
• English is our company language, whereas a good level of spoken and written English is required. Languages are welcomed and rewarded, working knowledge of other main languages e.g. Arabic, French, Spanish, German in an advantage.

Experience
• 1 year work experience as Pastry Commis II or similar position in a 5* international hotel or similar business in the service sector.

Skills
• HACCP awareness
• Hygiene & Quality focused service
• Ability to multi task and under pressure
• Continuously provides client oriented service,etc.
