Ensure that hardware and software are not mis-used which may result in any loss or damage causing a financial burden on the company Accordingly, your main duties are as follows:
- Ensure that all users are provided with the necessary support during their day to day activities to enhance productivity
- Respond to guest and colleagues queries in a friendly and efficient manner to ensure user satisfaction
- Maintain all hotel data in accordance with company security standards
- Monitor the performance of Networks, Servers, Workstations and peripherals and informs the Director of IT of any abnormalities to ensure that high performance standards are maintained
- Keep up to date with IT knowledge and trends to enable continuous improvement to the services offered to users
- Ensure standards are maintained and well communicated to colleagues to maximise efficiency
- Create user accounts and allocate necessary access to enable users to access appropriate folders and sites
- Ensure that all requests to the IT Department are logged in the defined manner to ensure accurate records are kept and analyse recurring themes
In order to be considered for the role, it is desirable that you have a degree in IT and at least 3-5 years experience in an environment which requires practical usage of technical skills in a data centre or network company. Fluent in Business English is a must. The candidate applying for the role should have strong written and verbal communication.
