To serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by championing the Wine Offering of the hotel and overseeing the day-to-day operations of wine service in the hotel, with the objective of maximizing both guest satisfaction and hotel revenues.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creation and update of the wine list and wine by the glass offerings, and overall control and maintenance of the wine cellar
• In cooperation with culinary operations and recreation, plan & execute wine of the month, promotions, wine dinners, and guest wine tasting.
• Maintaining/stocking all related wine equipment
• Ongoing colleague training and development on wine knowledge, including daily departmental training
• Pioneer wine up-selling initiatives
