Role
Supporting the Executive Chef + team, you will play an integral part in the set up and successful launch & running of a highly anticipated Sushi Bar Concept + assist in supervision of our Cold Kitchen Operation.

Responsibilities
• Full Restaurant/Hotel service – daily fresh food preparation, mise en place, service
• Provisions – Stock Control Management & Storage Rotation
• Due Diligence – Hygiene, Food Safety procedures, maintenance of kitchen & equipment

Experience
• Candidates must have previous experience in similar position operating in a Fine Dining restaurant, Articulate, hardworking, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-cultural organization.
• An eye for excellence, and attention to details is the key to success
• Language - Good communication skills using English language (French optional).
• Personality -Flexible and able to adapt in a busy/seasonal operation.

Profile
• Proven Junior Sushi Chef (Chef de Partie) experience gained within prestigious International Hotels/Resorts, preferably within/or around the Indian Ocean Culinary Scene.
• Ability to come on board by 1st week of October 2012 & no holidays planned or booked until April 2013
• Genuine Intention to offer long term commitment to Culinary Brigade & ability to provide excellent employment references
