Sales Manager - Leisure, Entertainment, MICE We are looking for a responsible self starter who handles working under pressure with experience of identifying, negotiating and securing accounts especially with local businesses, national companies and travel agents. Key responsibilities will include:
- Attracting revenue in line with our strategy and budget
- Building exceptional client relationships
- Implementing sales action plans
- Developing existing locally based accounts for the, working with corporations, associated travel agencies and associations to maximize Rooms, PD&E and Restaurant sales
- Ensuring all avenues of promotion and distribution are fully exploited within the Corporate & MICE accounts to maximise opportunities locally and internationally
Other responsibilities include working closely with the Marketing Manager - Strategy to:
- Research all existing client companies for further potential business
- To research past clients who no longer actively use the hotel
- To follow up on all potential sales leads
- To ensure an up to date database mailing list is maintained for Leisure & Groups, Corporate, MICE, and Groups.
The right candidate will preferably have an understanding of London market, along with an understanding of database sales management systems such as Delphi, Fidelio, ACT. They will enjoy working closely within a team of Sales Managers and Coordinators and be presentable and approachable at all times. We will also consider someone with a strong Sales Executive background looking for a new challenge with the possibility of promotion to Sales Manager in the near future.
