Responsible for every aspect of the day-to-day management of Hotel dedicated to sports, leisure, health and fitness. Managing staff and dealing with the technical aspects of fitness provision and health and safety. Accountable for the overall profitability of the Hotel, improving standards in line with company policy.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.Designing and promoting activities to meet customer demand and generate revenue;
2.Advertising and promoting the clubs and r centres to increase usage, which may include commissioning and considering market research;
3.Recruiting, training and supervising staff, including managing staff rotas.
4.Carrying out health and safety checks on the equipment and site.
5.Managing maintenance, insurance, repairs and cleaning.
6.Maintaining high levels of customer care, often with a particular focus on avoiding loss of existing users.
7.Handling complaints and incidents, e.g. Accidents and mergencies, theft.
8.Delivering some fitness training or coaching in sports activities - often a good way of maintaining contact with customers.
9.Preparing and checking budgets and generating income.
10.Cashing-up and keeping stock records;
11.Purchasing equipment and supplies;
12.Overall supervision of therapists, reception staff, pool & gym staff.
13. Overall control, evolution and development of all leisure facilities.
14.Ensuring leisure and spa facilities are kept up to date with trends in the industry
