POSITION: Boutique Manager
SCOPE OF POSITION
As a Boutique Manager, you will responsible for managing the Boutique as well as advising on other retail ranges in the resort. Your aim is to drive sales and profitability by procuring a retail range that is highly desirable for guests and that is procured at exceptional rates thus driving profitability. The presentation and merchandising of The Boutique must entice sales and you should maintain the resort’s standards as well as ensuring hosts are fully versed on sales target for the day whilst delivering exception customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• 2-3 years experience as a Boutique Manager or Supervisor.
• Diploma in Management or equivalent experience in retail environment
• Proficient knowledge in customer service, account payable and store administration
• Ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs at highly proficient level.
• Ability to procure a unique and desirable retail range.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing and motivating The Boutique team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
• Procuring stock and managing stock levels and control procedures
• Maintaining awareness of the market trends in retail industry, understanding forthcoming guests’ initiatives and monitoring other local competitors.
• Analyzing sales figure and forecasting future sales volume to maximize profits.
