The Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah is located in the Arabian Sea. Salalah is called the paradise of the gulf and enjoys a khareef season. The resort is 6 KM from the airport and a 15 minute drive from the major shopping malls and city centre. The resort has 134 rooms & 20 villas including 5 outlets, 2 meeting rooms and a grand ballroom which can cater for up to 500 people. The Leisure Club includes squash and tennis courts, gym, children's pool, sports pool and a family pool. Crowne Plaza Salalah caters for both corporate and leisure guests alike and we are proud to be a show case in this rapidly developing city. Our hotel is looking for a Room Service Order Taker to join our team.
As a Room Service Order Taker you role involves the following;
Ø To accept Room Service orders for all in houseguests through telephone. Responsible in putting guest orders through micros, billing procedures and cash, credit card and City Ledger settlements Ø Assists guest in placing their orders, making recommendations and generally advising them
Ø Learns the Room Service Menu and Beverage Lists, the daily availability items and seasonal specialties including prices
Ø Assists in the increasing the Room Service Food & Beverage revenues by up-selling to the guest when they place orders
Ø Records and processes Room Service Food & Beverage revenue transactions including the preparation of the guest check
Ø Communicate over the telephone in the manner to promote a high degree of guest's satisfaction
