The candidate ideally has an excellent sales background, with the ability to forge strong and long term relationships with clients. This role demands that the ideal candidate work closely with clients going the extra mile in delivering and exceeding client expectations. The role requires the candidate to have a consultative sales approach throughout all stages of the sales life cycle.
The candidate must possess exceptional leadership of the highest calibre, leading by example and with a hands on approach. The candidate will be responsible for the hotel’s entire events and conferencing function, consistently delivering and meeting revenue targets for the hotel, both reactively and proactively.
Salary: $40,000 - $49,000 USD TAX FREE
Package: Very competitive benefits including, flights, accommodation, etc.
The candidate should also have a good understanding of F&B operations or have some experience of F&B in their career thus far. Furthermore, the candidate needs to have strong financial acumen in order to set budgets. Also the candidate must be a model example for their team, constantly aiming to achieve customer satisfaction at levels of excellence.
Additional responsibilities expected by the candidate are:
- Evaluate customer/guest/client satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
- Aware of trends and propose ideas to build the range and quality of Conference & Events
- Optimise sales and contain costs, identifying any areas for action
