There is extensive food & beverage and Event Catering operations and it is therefore essential that you are experienced in managing diverse operations and in dealing with multiple contractors. As Director of Engineering you will be responsible for the effective operation and development of the Engineering Department.
The role provides advice to senior management on all aspects of engineering support, environmental controls, and the operational efficiency of the property. Ensuring effective financial management through setting and controlling engineering budgets, capital works programs and engineering plans, including a five year Capital Plan. Furthermore, liaison with Group Technical Services, ensuring adherence to all statutory regulations, fire codes and building codes is essential. You will be committed to excellence, to ensuring the highest standards of customer safety and security, whilst recognising that profitability is essential to future success.
Western background and education essential
Degree in some form of engineering discipline (Ideally electrical)
Presently working as Director of Engineering
Minimum of 10 years in a senior position with a 5 star hotel group
Current or recent Middle East experience essential
Worked with a multi cultural workforce
