Mechanic

Duties & Responsibilities:

1.1. Follows up and executes all the works assigned to him by the Shift Engineer.
1.2. Assist all technical staff in their work.
1.3. With the help of the checklist of the Shift Engineer, inspects the building and the plant rooms for any deficiencies and faulty operations of equipment and technical systems.
1.4. Notes all required spare parts and consumable material and advise the shift engineer of the requirements, in writing.
1.5. Responds promptly to all maintenance orders.
1.6. Carries out regular preventive maintenance works.
1.7. Follows up all the water treatment activities and record them accordingly.
1.8. Performs all the mechanical works including: domestic water pumps, CWP, HWP, chillers, boilers, HVAC, plumbing, welding work and firefighting system.
1.9. Obtain the daily readings of all the mechanical equipment including: pumps, chillers, boilers, water counters, walk-in fridge & refrigerator and water chemical readings.
1.10. Responsible with the cleaning of the plant rooms, workshops and working areas.
