Electrical and Electronic Technician

For the opening of our new 5-star lifestyle resort, we are looking for an experienced Electrical and Electronic, reporting directly to the Chief Engineer

- To have up to date knowledge of all hotel services and functions at all times.
- To develop knowledge of hotel structure, fixtures, fittings and plant.
- To repair and maintain all electrical and related items, - e.g. motors, switchgear, cabling, low voltage panels, high voltage panels, transformers, distribution panels, etc.
- To repair and maintain all electrical and related items, - e.g. motors, switchgear, cabling, low voltage panels, high voltage panels, transformers, distribution panels, etc.
- To repair and maintain the fire alarm system (detectors, wiring, buttons and panels).
- To repair and maintain the telephone system including PABX, telephone sets, network, boxes, GSM, and all related devices.
- To have full knowledge of the satellite system including the receivers and amplifiers and to maintain a strong signal at all terminals.
- To have full knowledge of the generator (daily testing, battery, ATS, machine, engine and the panel).
- To take all the daily readings and to record them as required.
- To assure that all hotel equipment’s and devices and electrical outlets are ground fault connecting.
- To perform all the preventive maintenance schedules as designed properly.
- To perform all maintenance works for CCTV system / UPS system, dimming system and all security systems.
- To repair and maintain all lights, lamps and associated fittings.
- To read/make-drawing/sketches of electrical installation
- To repair and maintain all electrical parts of machinery - eg: kitchen and laundry equipment etc...
- To perform the duties of single member shift

Requirements:
* Requires very good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
* Industrial Training Institute pass certificate in respective trade
* Ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and execute
* Ability to coordinate with colleagues, departments and management team
* Minimum of one year experience with similar position, luxury hotel experience is preferred
