MEP Supervisor

For the opening of our new 5-star lifestyle resort, we are looking for an experienced MEP Supervisor, reporting directly to the Chief Engineer.

- To follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner.
- To comply with the latest insurance, local, country codes, laws, and requirements.
- To provide preventive maintenance and appropriate log-on to the various systems.
- To determine defects, trouble-shoot malfunctions, take necessary corrective action, and record same on the departmental work order form.
- To respond to all service calls promptly.
- To coordinate with other department personnel the scheduling of the following works: Electrical, carpentry, painting, mechanical and shifts works. These works include: services, replacement, alterations, and new installation work.
- To assist CE in training new department associates on equipment and the daily functions of the hotel.
- To supervise / Manage shift staff.
- To interview and recommend new hires to CE.
- To have up to date knowledge of all hotel services and functions at all times.
- To develop knowledge of hotel structure, fixtures, fittings and plant.
- To install, repair and maintain all fire fighting / fire alarm systems.
- To install, repair and maintain all mechanical plant, boilers, heaters, etc.
- To maintain all energy consumption daily readings and follow logs for it.
- To co-ordinate the repairing and maintaining of drainage system.
- To read/make drawings/sketches of mechanical / electrical / decorative installations.
- To be responsible for supervising and controlling the operation of the building management system (BMS).

Requirements:
* Requires very good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
* Industrial Training Institute pass certificate in respective trade
* Ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and execute
* Ability to coordinate with colleagues, departments and management team
* Command of MS office
* Command of operating BMS
* Minimum of one year experience with similar position, luxury hotel experience is preferred
