DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Obtains, requisitioned supplies, materials and equipment from the Stewards,
Housekeeping and other departments
2. Cleans and polishes materials and equipment such as glassware chinaware's
and silverware.
3. Arranges function rooms and set tables based on the details arranged for the
function or conference.
4. Informs superior for repair o fixtures and furniture's in function rooms and for
temperature adjustments.
5. May be assigned to present menu and takes orders when necessary during Parties,
Theme Nights etc
6. Serves courses courteously and efficiently in proper sequence and with proper timing;
remove used plates after each course.
7. Brings soiled linen to linen room.
8. Returns materials and equipment used to the corresponding departments.
9. May be assigned to perform duties of Captain Waiter when necessary.
10. Ensures that all storerooms are kept clean.
11. Supervise and instructs Bus Boys during service.
12. Attend to guest complaints and requests, refers it to Captain Waiter or Head
Waiter when necessary.
13. Keeps store rooms and all banquet areas clean and tidy at all time.
14. Complies with Hotel's health, safety, hygiene and fire policy.
15. Ensure that the service provided to the guests is to the company standards.
16. Participates in training sessions, briefings and meetings as and when requested.
17. Ensure that check list and assignment given by the Captain Waiter are implemented.
