We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Director of Sales and Marketing to take on an exciting opening role for two hotels.
Located at the end of creek between Officers City and Bain Al Jessrain area, the four star Novotel will have 160 superior rooms and 64 one bedroom apartments, while the three star Ibis hotel will feature 252 standard room and 42 spacious one bedroom apartment. The hotels will feature a variety of FB outlets and Spa.
Produces the annual Business Plan in conjunction with General Manager and other Hotel Management, sales and marketing budgets and forecasts.
Take part in developing short and mid terms business strategies and actions.
Prepare pre opening Marketing Plan, rate structures and sales distribution channels
Analyses current and potential markets/trends, co-ordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rates.
Oversees all sales reports, calendars of events, leads and follow-through, and mailing lists
Produces weekly, monthly and yearly Sales Report and forecasts
Proactively manage a pre-determined number of key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum production to meet set target. Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is done in timely manner.
Proactively prospecting new accounts and follow the sales process through to convert into ‘producing’ accounts
To maintain complete and supported records of all sales agreements, Contracts and quotes for the hotel as per company Policies and Procedures.
Ensures the appropriate training and development is in place
Manages the Sales Incentive Program
Attends fairs in order to represent the Hotel and/or region within a both according to the action plan within the Business/Marketing Plan of the Hotel. The fairs are attended in co-ordination with the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing
Establishes and signs contracts with local In-bound Operators/Travel Agents /Corporate considering the official Rate Policy in co-ordination with the Regional S&M Director & or General Manager.
Conducts rate market surveys to advise management of actual market trends
Ensuring the hotel is represented as an active member of the local community
