We are currently looking for Chef de Partie (Cold Kitchen) who can join us immediately and assist us in achieving our mission to become “The Market Leader” as the most luxurious hotel in Kuwait with employees who consistently provide exceptional and personalized levels of service to our guests. He will be supervising the cold kitchen production and will support the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and innovation.
•Responsible for supervising cold foods preparation, including salads and dressings, pates, cold hors d’oeuvres and buffet items
•Assisting the Commis in the section to perform their duties efficiently
•Plans and prepares requisitions for the cold kitchen, spot checks on delivery of ordered items
•Monitors storage and usage of cold kitchen product and ensures that spoilage/waste is kept to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and on rotating basis
•Coordinating the duty schedules of line cooks in the Cold Kitchen Section according to business forecast
•Attending culinary trainings and recording new recipes and cooking procedures
•Maintaining kitchen equipments and storage area in good shape and following rules of hygiene and sanitation (HACCP)
•Perform other assigned duties that contribute to the Company's mission and objectives
•Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Culinary Arts or any other related field
•Must Have 1-3 Years working experience in similar capacity in a 5 star hotel
•Fluent in English and Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage
•With excellent culinary ability, creative, great attention to detail
•Team Oriented and can work on diverse work environment
