The Santa Safari Group has three trading divisions: Hotel in Finland, Hotel in Sweden and an Destination Management Company. This roles is recruiting an accountant control all three divisions which are all located within 3kms of each other.The Santa Safari Group, one of Scandinavia’s leading operators in the Leisure industry, has a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join its Finance/Administration team. You will be working on a range of tasks to include preparation of management accounts, statutory accounts, budgeting, forecasting, cash flows, VAT Returns, Payroll, managing UK & overseas payments, credit control and all banking issues.
We have recently invested in a new accounts and ERP system, SAP Business One, and you would assist in the implementation of this new software.
All applicants must hold a recognised accountancy qualification or be qualified by experience and possess a broad knowledge of financial processes and computer systems. Knowledge of the hotel or travel industry is beneficial. You will need to be highly self-motivated, work well under pressure, be a good team player and confident in your abilities.
The role will provide exposure to management accounts preparation, international business processes, a varied range of tasks and valuable financial experience. You will be based in northern Finland or northern Sweden as there are properties within the group in both countries. The role will carry varied responsibilities, within a fast-paced and enjoyable working atmosphere with genuine opportunities for career development.
Requirements:- International book keeping and accounting experience within the leisure industry
- Recognized bachelor’s degree and accountancy qualifications
- Financial and logistical acumen
- Full clean driving license
- 24/7 Attitude
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for monthly and quarterly management meetings.
- You must be eligible to live and work within the EU.
