Executive Chef

We are looking for Executive Chef with 5 star international hotel chain background who are willing develop their career in hospitality and be a part of a growing company.


Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have:
• Minimum 3 years as Executive Sous-Chef in a 5 star international hotel chain.

• Well experienced in International multi-cuisine, A la carte and banqueting. Good knowledge in pastry and bakery.

• Possess strong leadership and organization skills. Maintain Good relationship with colleagues, employees and hierarchy.

• Be a good team player and able to lead a multicultural team.

• Must be pro-active, creative and quality driven.

• Budget conscious and financially focused.

• English, fluent oral and written.

• Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge in Materials Control System.

• Diploma in Culinary Arts. HACCP certification.

Your responsibilities:
• Work with the General Manager in delivering the Food & Beverage department strategic plans.
• Monitor food production, ordering, food cost on a daily basis. Set menu pricing in coordination with the General Manager.

• Create high quality and creative cuisine to satisfy and surprise our guests.

• Ensure standards of presentation and preparation of food items meet quality and brand standards.

• Areas of responsibility include restaurants, room service, café lounge, employee cafeteria as well as stewarding department.

• Develop and train the kitchen team. Provide direction and guidance to subordinates. Conduct performance appraisals and on-the-job training activities.

• Maintain collaborative atmosphere and team spirit.

• Participate to recruitment of kitchen employees and operation continuity.

• Maintain the highest standards of Food Hygiene, and full adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
