Part of their review and operational re-alignment demands a Financial Controller to join the managed property. With a reporting line to the Finance Director, based in Dubai, this role will take ownership of all areas of financial management, budgeting and planning as well as internal compliance. The role will focus heavily on areas of capital expenditure and planning along with implementing cost control parameters and reports to support the operational and development plans for the hotel. The role will also provide an active support function to the General Manager in achieving commercial objectives; whereby areas of cost, revenue and market analysis are executed and delivered within a strong and robust MIS framework. Coupled with this, the requirement extends to providing an effective consolidation to the Group level, whilst ensuring internal audit requirements are met and adhered to.
Our client will look to recruit a strong and professionally qualified financial professional, who can demonstrate a solid track record within the industry. Operationally the successful candidate shall be required to demonstrate a solid grasp of a business based hotel and the subsequent control and commercial considerations. The business needs in this area of Africa will demand and warrant a native French speaking candidate. Our client would also look to pinpoint an individual with current or previous experience gained within the MENA markets and candidates should be ready and able to be based in this part of the world.
