Responsibilities
Supervise the work of the storekeeper.
Verifies the qualities of arriving goods destined for the stores.
Ensure that all storage areas are clean, tidy and neatly arranged at all times and that all items are stored under optimum conditions.
Maintain up to date pin numbers, identifying each item by its name and pin number.
Issue store items against properly completed requisition.
Verified the list of items at re-order print against physical qualities on the shelves, prepare the stores re-order list.
Purchase all items needed for the materials and food store.
Prepare monthly inventory for the materials and food store, and physically do the count
Ensure that the closing stock for the stores is kept to a minimum.
Meal period is 2X15 minutes plus 1X30 minutes.
Time cards punched in and out in uniform.
Notify supervisor of any problems or complaints as and when they arise.
No employee to be on property after working hours without authorization of manager except for meals in the staff cafeteria.
