The principle responsibility of this role is to ensure that the company exceeds the country’s localization targets by supporting all Hotels with the recruitment and development of talented KSA Nationals.



This position will report to Regional Director of Human Resources arabian Peninsula and will work in conjunction with the Senior Management teams of each hotel to help deliver business results and drive the localisation agenda by the successful delivery of all HR-wide localization initiatives throughout KSA Hilton Worldwide Hotels.

What will I be doing?


As a Country Director of Human Resources, Kingdom Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for the effective management and performance of all Human Resources related activities for Hotels within KSA. This includes talent management, succession planning, learning and development and training, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and health and safety initiatives. Specifically, a Country Director of Human Resources, Kingdom Saudi Arabia will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Develop relationships with key KSA government departments that support the recruitment, education and on-going development of KSA nationals;

Develop an annual HR localisation plan that meets the commercial objectives of each hotel and the pipeline talent pool.

Coordinate recruitment fairs, including Hotel school visits to organize internships for recruiting and selecting potential candidates.

Plan and forecast, alongside the Hotel HR team, the short and long-term talent requirements for the hotel to support its business plans

Planning and co-ordinate mass recruitment for Hotel openings

Build a strong career and succession planning system to retain and develop talent

Develop a compensation and benefits strategy for the KSA market

Tap into KSA government training subsidies available

In conjunction with the Regional L&D Manager, set the training Strategy for KSA in line with business needs, particularly in view of Hotel openings

Oversee the completion of the Team Member Engagement Survey for KSA Hotels

Maintain an awareness of competitor human resources activities and best practices


What are we looking for?


The incumbent will be a highly respected and educated KSA national who will raise the profile of Hilton Worldwide in KSA and be conversant of any government support that can be accessed, whether in kind or monetary.

• Generalist knowledge of Organisational development, HR practice and learning and development. Sound experience in Management Development is essential. Qualification in L&D is highly desirable.

• Qualities: credible, high integrity, influential, highly energetic, self motivated and resilient.

• Competencies: Results Orientated, resourceful, ability to manage multiple sites/complexities/priorities simultaneously, sound problem-solving and decision-making, work autonomously whilst keeping all parties informed.

• Previous experience at Senior HR Manager level

• Previous Service Industry Experience

• Previous experience of being an integral member of a business leadership team

• Strong commercial awareness

• Experience of coaching at a senior level and developing talent.
