We are searching for an accomplished and professional Sous Chef, ideally with previous experience within the deluxe resort market.
This resort is one of the most prestigious and luxurious properties in the region and as such, this represents a genuine opportunity to make a name for yourself. There are a number of dining opportunities, as well as a very busy in-villa dining operation and remote beach catering.
Reporting to the Executive Chef you will take specific responsibility for the managing and directing the day to day operational activities of the Kitchen in order to ensure and improve quality and service. This is a very hands-on role, and candidates must be comfortable working with small multi-cultural teams. Comfortable at Michelin Star or similar level, you will be very familiar with the latest trends within in the industry and able to introduce new ideas & concepts to the operation on a continued basis.
Candidates must be business driven with a passion for excellence in guest service and satisfaction. Furthermore, you will have excellent presentation, organizational, and leadership skills as well as being highly creative with positive attitude and prepared to develop the team to their full potential.
Previous experience within the resort market is essential
Michelin star or similar experience
A minimum of 2 years as Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine, with a proven track record
Fluent in English
A creative and modern approach
Familiar with Mediterranean cuisine
Used to working in a multi-cultural environment
Previous 5 star experience is essential
Pre-opening experience would also be an advantage
