Manage existing and new business generated from the European markets to contribute to the Group Sales
Process department’s weekly and monthly results for hotel ownership and produce annual revenue marketing plan for Group Sales.
Represent Group Sales in the overall hotel revenue strategy meetings through benchmarking.
Plan and host numerous familiarization events at the hotel, such as private dinners and receptions, presented the hotel in sales pitches to prospective clients in their own offices
Showcased at trade events (Both IMEXs, EMITE & EIBTM) to promote the newly renovated hotel and to form strong and profitable client relationships.
Directing team to be proactive in generating more business when shortfalls are predicted in the Groups forecast by conducting prospect calls to new and existing clients, planning effective sales trips throughout Europe and creating innovative promotions.
Update the standard contract and proposal templates for both Group and Events teams to be more user friendly for internal and external clients.
Continually provide on the job training for the Group Sales team and conduct their annual reviews.
Assist in standard testing for the different outlets, particularly Event Operations in order to perfect the service experience.
Keep abreast of market trends for 5* Hotels and the hospitality industry
Key Personal qualities/experience will include:
Fluent in French
Director of Sales level experience in the hotel or related industry.
Good knowledge of the 5* Group market
Strong relationship builder.
Good analytical skills to evaluate potential markets
Salary is about 3,5k € x 13 month plus bonus
