about the role


  • Responsible for taking restaurant reservations in the outlets of Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and outlets belonging to Jumeirah International , in a proper manner as per the JI policies and procedures.


Main duties:

  • To serve inquiries and booking  calls, to correspond to emails in a timely manner ,  have a full and comprehensive knowledge of the Jumeirah restaurants and  be a direct and continual source of information, help and assistance to all guests.
  • To Identify and anticipate guest needs and requirements
  • To abide by all policies and procedures as stated in the F&B SOP Manual
  • To report to duty punctually and in accordance with the issued department duty roster
  • To adhere to the Jumeirah International Grooming and Uniform Standards
  • Answers all incoming telephone calls within 3 rings, using the standard greeting and covering Telephone Test Calls Criteria
  • Make sure to take all necessary information
  • Takes restaurant reservations for all outlets made via phone, email, fax or personal
  • Uses and maintains Restaurant Reservations System accordingly as per given procedure
  • To ensure accurate input of restaurant reservations details in the reservations system
  • Control the flow of the booking by not taking too many bookings at the same time
  • To handle reservation changes and cancellations
  • Distributes internal correspondence to the relevant departments
  • To keep him-/her-self updated with the current and future restaurants status and the occupancy levels
  • Support Department's KPI
  • Achieve individual KPI's ( TTC , Call Log In etc )
  • Responsible to keep a track and push own training needs
  • Files all correspondence on a daily basis
  • Ensures  daily specified tasks are done             



  • Maintain report and tracking required in the business
  • Support Assistant Managers & TL's to prepare the Daily Restaurant Report
  • Assist Assistant Managers & TL's to maintain inbox capacity, delete invalid files
  • Support Assistant managers & TL's to reply email inquiries and bookings request
  • Support Assistant Managers & TL's in maintaining records, tracking, reports required for the business
