To establish close working relationships with the DOSM, Sales Managers and all senior members of the team.
To complete a minimum number of sales calls weekly (to be determined by the DOSM), to be split between existing accounts and the opening of new business opportunities
To sell all 6 hotels of SWBH equally and sell all areas of the business i.e. rooms, meeting space, F&B, leisure activities, packages and promotions and special events (Amphitheatre).
To manage and follow up on business leads efficiently, effectively and professionally to drive business in order to maximise operating profit for the company.
To ensure that all sales activities are logged effectively and accurately in Opera in the required timescale.
To prepare weekly and monthly activity reports.
To protect the ownership company in every aspect to the best of your ability and to be aware that this position is a representation of ownership at all times.
To attend morning briefings and sales and marketing meetings without fail.
To be proactive in ways to generate revenue through the communication of ideas to the team
To ensure all members of the team act on behalf of the company and ensure that behaviour and presentations are in line of company policy especially when off-property.
To be part of a S&M team encouraging and promoting a rich cultural background with clear ethics and respect for others.
To work very closely with all management within Souq Waqif Hotels and Apartments.
To contribute to the Sales and Marketing Plan and strategy for the Souq Waqif Hotels and Apartments through constant motivation to achieve targets and goals that are set.
To establish sales contracts for the company which are always to be countersigned by Managing Director/Operations Director of Al Rayyan Hospitality and the Financial Controller.
To prepare regular 3-month forecasts of potential revenue from your segment or area for the company through being in constant touch with your business.
To establish and maintain a detailed consumer data/filing system which is always kept up to date.
To be aware of all reservations monitoring your VIP clients visiting the hotel and those people who could have a serious influence on the properties and apartments and making senior management aware when these VIPs are due to arrive.
To be visible and accessible to those customer in residence who have supported the properties and who are known to you personally.
To attend the trade shows and represent the company in a professional manner at all times through complete and total knowledge of all areas of the SWBH product and professional interaction with customers or potential clients.
To establish relationships with companies driving long-term rental business.
To follow clear credit policies and procedures as laid down by the company.
Use sale opportunities whenever possible.
To ensure good relations are kept with local dignitaries and officials.
To ensure the communication channels are followed as per the communication chart.
To follow eco-friendly policies as established by the company.
To work closely with Souq Waqif management and to be fully aware of what is going on in the area.
To work closely with Amphitheatre management and to understand all happenings and be familiar with program of events.
To be fully involved and actively sell any membership programs, if established.
