Our client, having superior first class hotels in South East Asia is seeking a Director of Housekeeping for their superior first class contemporary hotel with over 500 rooms and many F&B outlets, bars with a large banquet operation. Since this is a sizable hotel, the suitable candidate should have solid experience in similar capacity. A sound knowledge of the South East Asia market would be a plus.

The Director of Housekeeping will manage all facts of the housekeeping department to ensure high levels of guest service and satisfaction, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry department, uniform & linen, storage areas and work areas. You will be responsible for overall financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning of the departments, as well as responsible for the long term vision and direction of both departments, including improvements projects.

Mandatory Job Requirements:

Work Experience:

1. 10 years housekeeping management experience in a luxury hotel.

2. At least 3 years as Department Head of Housekeeping in a hotel of over 400 rooms.


1. Diploma holder in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

2. Degree holder in Hospitality and Tourism Management is preferred.


1. Well-developed customer service, interpersonal and presentation skills.

2. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

3. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).

4. Good leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.

The salary budget for this position is very negotiable.
