Job Description

Assistant Training Manager will be responsible for coordinating the departmental trainers as well as analysing training needs together with the Training Manager. Sourcing and developing training materials and courses is required. Using his/her influencing skills to ensure that training function at St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort is a strong partner to the operations and other departments. Follow-up and track attendance on training courses and communicate effectively to ensure highest attendance at all learning and development opportunities is maintained. Assistant Training Manager will also be responsible for tracking the municipality and Health & Safety training requirements.


Successful candidate will have previous experience from a 5* hotel training department and strong training facilitation skills. Ability to turn guest feedback and business plans into training strategy is something we look for.
In addition, we search for a candidate with good understanding of multi-cultural leaning styles and adult learning theories. Good admin skills and English proficiency are needed in order to be successful in this role.
Previous Starwood experience would be an asset – either from within training or operations.
