For our new 5-star lifestyle resort, we are looking for an HR Manager reporting directly to the General Manager.
The Role
* To report directly to and communicates with the General Manager on all pertinent HR matters affecting the employees
* To liaison with the Head of Departments manage the team members head count maintaining core team members and identifying any areas of development required
* To use own discretion as a manager to solve the any problems related to the employee
* To ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of the UAE Labour law.
* To recruit as necessary according to business demands and in line with recruitment guidelines as set down by the hotel
* To build and retain relationships with colleagues and recruitment agencies, negotiating rates where required
* To monitor costs of recruitment and recording the responses
* To maintain records of team members turnover, producing monthly reports
* To coordinate with HOD`s recruit requirement, find proper candidates and propose adequate candidate to HoDs
* To ensure that all new team members is adequately inducted into their departments and the hotel and to assist HoDs with review interviews to ensure correct recruitment is made
* To manage the payroll administration, ensuring company procedures are followed
* To assists HOD's maintain standard of appearance throughout their teams and to issue name badges
* To carry out grievance interviews according to the hotel procedures, ensuring that all actions are fair and followed through
* To monitor First Aids Kits and supplies
* To update all Personnel records, ensuring confidentiality at all times, and all team members are legally eligible to work
* To carry out references and to respond to all reference requests for employment
Requirements:
* Requires strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
* Proficient command of English language and Arabic language would be an added advantage
* Experience in the 5-star hospitality in the GCC
* Analytical skills and ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and execute or delegate
* Well versed with the U.A.E. Labour Law
* Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited university or college in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field is required
* Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in general, and 2 year with similar position, luxury hotel experience is preferred
