Oceana is an artfully designed contemporary resort, with an exclusive marina location set in lush tropical gardens on the Palm Jumeirah. Our specialty outlets, West 14th Steakhouse and Marina Beach Bar are complemented by an infinity pool.
This resort is looking for a General Technician.
The ideal candidate must fully understand the principles of refrigeration, air conditioning and general electrical maintenance.
He will regularly inspect operating equipments and effect repairs as necessary, and ensure units are in good condition.
He will also ensure cleanliness of work areas and protection of the surrounding areas when executing jobs, check building area temperatures and adjust as necessary.
He will be requested to complete major and minor services on other equipments as assigned and maintain a file for completed job sheets for inspection, carry out fire brigade duties when needed and complete the personal daily job record time book accurately.
He must fully comprehend the building automation system operation, understand the type and location of alarms and functionality of the system, trouble shoot & repair systems and equipments when necessary and participate in new equipment installation projects.
He will cross train in the fields of plumbing and plant mechanics, respond immediately to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
The candidate must have a good knowledge of the English language and is customer oriented. He must have an educational background in technical education.
