Areas of Accountability
To provide high quality and luxurious service to the guests by:
o Ensuring that own section is ready for service on time,
o Ensuring that adequate stocks/supplies are provided within station to enable a smooth, prompt and professional service at all times,
o Setting up of tables prior to meal hours and cleaning table areas after meal ours ensuring compliance with service procedures at all times, ensuring al silver, glasses, crockery are in impeccable condition,
o Meeting, greeting and providing world class and consistent service for a seamless guest dining experience,
o Being knowledgeable and conversant about beverages and menu items, making suggestions and clarifying any guests´ query,
o Providing personalized service by greeting the guest by name and learning personal preferences (i.e. coffee, iced tea, etc.),
o Taking guests orders, obtaining orders from the galley and delivering orders to the guests, accurately and promptly,
o Ensuring guests requests of beverages, condiments, etc. are promptly fulfilled,
o Providing buffet service to the guest (if assigned): assisting guests in carrying plates from the buffet to the table of guest’s preference, obtaining beverages for guests and delivering of orders to tables,
o Effectively dealing with any issues that may arise during service, ensuring standards are not affected,
o Effectively handling any guest complaints that may occur during service, suggesting solutions and alternatives to guarantee guest recovery,
o Reflecting Regent Seven Seas Cruises values – Service Anchors at all times,
o Keeping self informed about all events and activities on the ship at all times.
To ensure full compliance with USPH regulations by:
o Maintain continual cleanliness of all dining room equipment/materials, adhering to USPH standards at all times,
o Ensuring the logging of all fridge, freezer and dishwasher temperatures, as explained in current Policy and/or in accordance with Regent Seven Seas Cruises procedures and legal guidelines in own outlet,
o Ensuring the maintenance of all equipment in own section.
