Assistant Waiter - The Pearl Qatar - Doha, QATAR

Aim:

Assist the waiter to serve meals to our guests and ensure they have an enjoyable meal and an exceptional experience by exceeding their expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Contribute to the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant
a. Clean and prepare the section
b. Stock and keep the waiter station neat and organized
c. Help keep the restaurant organized and tidy
d. Respect of brand uniform and its upkeep

2) Take part in the welcoming and the comfort of all guests
a. Be professional and embody the brand image
b. Smile and be cheerful
c. Anticipate guests needs
d. Be friendly with guests and keep a respectful attitude
e. Be totally familiar with the composition of all menu items

3) Flow of service:
a. Check the correct setup of waiter station
b. Take care of customers: welcome, seating, serving
c. Be available for customers requests
d. Ensure quality of service and served items
e. Check customer’s satisfaction
f. Detect particular needs
g. Listen to suggestion and respond
h. Thank customers for their visits
i. Clear tables and restock waiter stations

4) Teamwork
a. Maintain good relations with the restaurant colleagues in all departments
b. Support and participate in the activities of the team
c. Attend meetings and training courses as required
d. Respect other colleagues differences and assist them when needed
e. Welcome and assist newly arrived team members


Educational Requirements

• Hotel School graduate
• Fluent in English, Arabic is an advantage
• 1 years experience in the hospitality industry
