Main Duties

Reporting to the Head Floral Designer the Head Florist is required to supervise and guide our team of florists and florist runners to ensure the department prepares professional and eye catching floral arrangements in suite/ public areas and to maintain the flowers up to the standard required by the hotel. This is a challenging role which requires someone with imagination & creative flair.

The successful candidate will have:

• Outstanding precision with floral designs
• A good approach to teamwork
• Excellent problem solving & time management skills

Qualifications / Experience

• A minimum of 3 years previous experience as a florist or floral designer in a high quality florist or hotel
• Industry recognised certification as a floral artist
• Degree in floral decoration preferred
• Proficiency in English is essential
• Proficiency in a second language such as Arabic, German, Russian, Spanish or Japanese would be an advantage
